“A real disappointment!”
I stayed 4 nights at Kamajaya Villa for the second time. I discovered this establishment for the first time in 2019 before covid and I was delighted, so this year I did not hesitate to come back. Unfortunately, 3 years have passed and many things have changed. Let's be clear, Kamajaya remains a beautiful establishment with only about ten private villas. The staff is attentive and the villas are very nice. On the contrary, during our 4-night stay, we could not use the toilet in our room for 2 nights due to a blocked pipe issue. These things happen, but it's not cool when it happens to you! Going to the reception toilet when you're on a budget for a private villa is not great. On the 3rd night, the hotel changed our room and we thank them. Unfortunately, in this new room, there must have been water damage and the floating parquet was quite detached, and we regularly stumbled over it. The pool lights did not work in the two villas we had. The hotel did not offer massage services or breakfast as during my first stay. We had to ask the reception ourselves for breakfast in the morning. In short, I am terribly disappointed because I loved Kamajaya but in 3 years things have changed a lot and I think the hotel needs to seriously maintain itself more regularly!
