“Villa good, surroundings less due to construction noise”
Communication and information beforehand with the host (villa manager Budi) was really good and questions were answered very quickly. We also slept wonderfully until we were woken up by construction and building noise. It turned out that several houses are being built in the adjacent street. This information was not known beforehand. But, to be fair; we were incredibly well helped by Budi. He thought along and - despite us having a non-refundable rate for multiple nights - agreed with our proposal. He kept his word and is therefore very reliable!
The process of arranging the refund through Booking.com via personal contact was quite difficult. We needed this, but they directed us to contact via chat. Of course, I understand that this is a filtering system to save costs. Eventually, we managed to get in touch with Booking.com by phone and they helped us well
