“Beautifull villa, Nice location and Nice people”
Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience during our stay. During the night, we discovered a rat inside the villa, and at one point it even ran over my wife while she was lying down. We also found rat droppings in the living area, which obviously made us feel very uncomfortable staying there. The biggest problem was that there was nobody available during the night when this happened, so we had to deal with the situation ourselves until the next day. To be fair, once the staff/owner became aware of the situation, they did try to resolve it. They sent people to inspect the villa and addressed the open drain where the rat may have entered. They also offered to refund 3 out of our 4 nights as compensation, which we appreciated. I want to be fair because they did make an effort afterwards and handled the compensation reasonably. However, finding a rat inside your accommodation — especially one running over you during the night — is something that seriously affects your feeling of safety and comfort. For us, it unfortunately ruined the stay.
