“A stay that harmed my health due to mold and dirt”
The staff are polite, but they don’t resolve any issues. Still, I understand that the owner probably doesn’t give them much say. They are very courteous, though.
The photos in the listing do not reflect reality. The room had so much mold that I became ill and had to go to the hospital because of an asthma attack. When I arrived, I found a lot of built-up grime. Even after I requested cleaning, they only straightened the bed and swept the floor. The bathroom has holes where bugs and caterpillars come out. I showered in flip-flops, feeling scared and disgusted. The toilet also made a noise that kept me awake at night. To make matters worse, on the last day, the power went out, leaving us without air conditioning or water. No staff were available to provide information or assistance. I was having an asthma attack in a hot, moldy room. The shared areas are just as poorly maintained. I found the pool dirty; apparently, they only add chlorine. The kitchen is not clean enough to cook safely, and the shared fridge is old, smells very bad, and drips water onto the food. There is never anyone at reception. The staff are polite but seem overworked, with too few employees handling multiple duties and unable to resolve the problems. The location is also inconvenient: far from Dreamland, Bingin, and Uluwatu Beach, with nothing nearby. Booking.com needs to check whether the photos reflect the properties’ current condition. Heavily edited or outdated images create expectations that do not match reality. This is outrageous! I recommend paying a little more and staying somewhere with proper hygiene standards that won’t put your health at risk.
