“Always a perfect stay”
Everything imperfect at Suarga. Staff are amazing, rooms are gorgeous and super comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the location is prime - best on the Bukit.

WARNING — $700 CASH DISAPPEARED FROM OUR BACKPACK WHILE AT THIS HOTEL We recently stayed at Suarga Padang Padang, and unfortunately an extremely disturbing incident happened on our last day that completely changed our impression of this hotel. After checking out, we left our luggage in the hotel’s luggage room while we went surfing. When we returned, we collected our luggage, sat down at the hotel, and ordered lunch. At that point, our backpack containing our passports, electronics, and cash was with us. A waitress came to take our food and drink order and saw exactly where our bags were. We then asked about taking a shower. The same waitress personally escorted us from the area where we had left our belongings to the shower facilities. We were away from our bag for only around FIVE MINUTES. When we came back, our drinks had already been placed on the table. Shortly afterward, we discovered that $700 CASH WAS MISSING from a ziplock bag inside our backpack. Nothing else was taken. Our passports were still there. Our electronics and other valuables were still there. The backpack itself was still there. Someone had apparently gone inside the backpack, opened the specific place where the cash was kept, removed the cash, and left everything else untouched. This is what makes the incident so disturbing to us. It did not look like someone randomly grabbing an unattended bag. Whoever took the money appears to have specifically taken cash while leaving passports, electronics, and other identifiable valuables behind. The hotel also controls access through its reception area. We did not see random people or outside visitors walking around our belongings during this period — only hotel staff. We cannot prove which individual took the money, and we are not accusing a specific employee without evidence.
