“Awful, disgusting, uncomfortable and unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK”
It wasn’t even the same property as the photos for starters. We were charged a cash deposit on arrival which we weren’t told about until we got there. It was extremely unclean and we felt very uncomfortable being there. We asked for some cleaning supplies like bleach and sprays so that we could at least wash out the bath, showers and sinks ourselves, but we were given only a sponge, no actual cleaning materials. When wiping down the bath with the sponge it turned black from the grime. The sofa was stained so it didn’t feel comfortable lounging on. I contacted the property within less than an hour of our arrival and let them know we couldn’t stay the night and left immediately. We requested a refund, due to the false advertising and uncleanliness, but the property has refused to return what we are owed. Their excuse is that they were not given the chance to come and rectify the cleaning, but 1 it should have been clean anyway 2 the chance was given and we offered to do it ourselves, but we’re not provided with sufficient supplies 3 either way, it still was not the same property as in the photos ! They are refusing to directly address these points, and are essentially saying ‘we have investigated and come to the conclusion that we don’t want to give your money back’. Which is a ridiculous idea that a company will handle the investigation of their own wrongdoings. This place is not worth the hassle, you will not get what you see in the photos, or the service you are owed.
