“Rats and abandoned place”
Nice Location , but there are better ones next door.
This accommodation did not meet basic hygiene or safety expectations. Every night, rats were around searching the room and personal belongings for food. If it wasn’t for the mosquito net, they would also jump on humans like they did to a fellow guest. This raises serious concerns about cleanliness and pest control. This alone made the stay uncomfortable and unsafe. Communication issues made the situation worse. There was no effective way to report or resolve problems or even make basic plans: the person on site spoke no English, internet access on the island was almost never available, and electricity was only provided at night. After boat pick up the responsible for this listing completely disappeared, food was catered buffet-style by local women without any interaction or option to communicate. These conditions severely limited any ability to seek help or plan alternatives. Given these circumstances, this stay cannot be recommended. I would entirely avoid staying on this side of Fam and go to another island instead.
