“A bit pricy compared to other properties, dated (pool missing tiles, a bit old) but we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms so”
We loved the location, the house manager Inna and housekeeper Lia who were very kind and helpful and kept the place spotless, the size of the rooms and common spaces, the size of the pool and garden (it is perhaps even a huge property for the location) we loved that it has a washing machine and well-equipped kitchen, and the water cooler has a hot water function (didn’t miss the kettle) the pool and garden maintenance was done very well as well, and offerandes were placed in the garden temple and by the gate every day 🙏 😌
We didn’t like that none of the bedrooms had actual curtains that kept any light out; we have a child that wakes up as soon as daylight peers in and that was every day at 5:45-6AM max because the curtains were very thin and light or lacy (dark/occulting curtains would be better, shutters of some sort even more so). We didn’t like that the bathroom always smelled of drains, when you use the bidet tap it was even worse, it was just always there after a shower and flushing the toilet. The water from the shower smelled of drains and even got into our belongings after staying there for 2x2 weeks so happy to be rid of it TBH. It started to become a real nuisance and made us scared for our health at a certain point, because this smell is associated with non-governmental water or groundwater and this is unsafe, especially with a child. The bathroom with plastic golf plate roof also because excruciatingly hot almost all days making it hard to be in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes without needing to shower again 🥵 so we had to keep the doors to the closet&bedroom shut at all times but none of them closed/locked properly so a gust of wind would send them flying open letting all the heat in. We think the aircons are old or need a cleaning as they weren’t very efficient at cooling the place down, we literally had the one in our bedroom on 24/7 at 20-24Celsius and it was always scorching hot in the bedroom. We didn’t like that there was no microwave to easily heat up food, but that is personal&you can totally make do with the little grill/oven there.
