“Passable”

Bathroom was pretty with windows + plants

Unprofessional communication prior to arrival - and then despite all that, they still did not expect us to arrive (didn't know we had a reservation at all), did not have a scooter ready. The people who we met in person were kind and did what they could scrambling to make it all work, but Tyn the manager (who we never met, only messaged) was unprofessional on whatsapp saying we were asking for too much the night prior to our arrival to have a scooter coordinated and airport transfer booked, despite her sending prices and offering to coordinate this. The villa is in a construction zone off the main roads with no facilities nearby to rent a scooter etc. In the end the scooter was then never coordinated - we ended up walking around, which is fine but just frustrating as we waited 2 hours after we arrived for a scooter that never came and wasted time. We also sorted our own airport transfer, and then got messages asking for a specific check out time so they could meet us with the keys... we were at the airport when they messaged this, keys left in the villa. Basically just frustrating communications that wasted our time, and ultimately money. Reportedly a new build, but cheap and hastily done. The photos do not accurately portray the accomodation. Have to assume the 'exceptional' reviews from 'other sites' were the hosts doing it themselves. In the midst of a construction zone so everything is loud and dusty. The pool was extremely dirty (unusable), everything was cheaply done even the doors were hard to close. This is possibly the standard with Uluwatu, unsure -- but it made us miss our stunning locally run villa in Amed. Very glad we only stayed one night, would not stay here again.
