Villa Julia is in a perfect position, an easy walk to the beach, the Flea Market and Seminyak shopping. The Villa is beautiful, not too slick, great sized rooms, a lovely, private pool and open living area. We were very comfortable. The staff that met us at the Villa on the night we arrived, cleaned the Villa every day and cooked us breakfast were kind, professional, discrete and friendly. We had a relaxed, easy stay.
The beds were a little hard but otherwise we were very comfortable.

“Spacious, comfortable and prime location”
Free airport pick up. The location is excellent with everything you could need and more just a short stroll away. The bedding is extremely comfortable and the villa itself is spacious and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided us with a cot, bath and highchair for our baby for free. Its been one of our favourite places to stay in Bali and we would love to return one day. Highly recommend the nearby cafe Local Coffee and the Rose Spa.
Unfortunately the mosquitoes were really bad, possibly due to the fields behind the villa and big rains. We had coils burning constantly and used repellent and patches but they were still really bad.

The location is great. And it’s very close to the beach and the restaurants. One night the electricity and the water is completely gone and they were fixed it in the middle of the night - the fastest fix ever.
I have a very mixed feeling about this villa. The night that the electricity was gone, it was fixed in 2 hours but we had to struggle for it. We texted lots of messages to Putu, but in return we got few replies (maybe they talked to each other at that point but the problem is that nobody was clear to us about the issue - if they told us that we needed to wait for the morning, it was also ok but there was a communication problem). There were no face towels - we had to ask for it. At some point, the water of the pool was drained but they quickly fixed it after we asked for it again (although the other day, the same thing happened again). In the upstairs bedroom, the water pressure was very low in the shower but in the washbasin it’s extremely high. The kitchen is outside, so that appearantly means some kind of animals can come and knock down the trashcan in the middle of the night. They say that the opened windows means you can come in and clean the room - the day before our last day we opened them but nothing. The kitchen utensils also needed to be washed but nobody came to clean. And finally our last day, I texted multiple messages to Putu that we had to go because he told me that he would come to collect the keys - he didn’t reply back. Thank god that the cleaning lady came and we gave the keys to her.
