The stay at Malibu Huts was absolutely fantastic. The family who owns the place was really warm & welcoming. The views from the hut were breathtaking and the complimentary breakfast was simple yet satisfying.
The only slight problem we had was with the saltwater as we had to rely on bottled water for brushing teeth. Other than that, no issues at all at the place.

Door wat stroevere communicatie via berichten/Booking.com hadden we vooraf gemengde gevoelens, maar dat bleek vooral door de taalbarrière te komen. In werkelijkheid zijn het ontzettend lieve eigenaren die echt alles voor je willen regelen. De accommodatie is basic, maar heeft een goede (en broodnodige) airco. Alles is functioneel, al zijn er hier en daar kleine verbeterpuntjes zoals een los stopcontactje of een deurmat die wat frisheid kan gebruiken. Daar staat een fantastisch uitzicht over de oceaan tegenover. Aan deze oostkant heb je geen zonsondergang, maar wel een adembenemende zonsopkomst (met uitzicht op Lombok en Gunung Agung - Bali). Kortom: een warm en lokaal verblijf met geweldig uitzicht, perfect voor wie niet te kritisch is en vooral wil genieten van de sfeer en locatie.
Tijdens ons verblijf stond er bijna geen wind, waardoor de veranda best warm werd. Bij onze hut miste een zonnescherm, dus dat hielp niet echt mee. Verder zouden een paar simpele dingetjes zoals een stopcontactje dat weer goed werkt, een nieuwe wc-bril en een fris badmatje de hut meteen al een upgrade geven 😄.

Die Aussicht ist wirklich toll. Wir wurden kostenlos zu einem Beach Club gefahren & haben eine weitere Hütte bekommen, da in der für 4 Personen in einem Zimmer keine Klimaanlage installiert ist.
Löcher in unbezogenen Decken und Handtüchern, Sauberkeit insgesamt, salziges Wasser aus der Leitung, teilweise Probleme mit WLAN
