“One off the worst hotels I've ever been”

I will tell you how was my experience: terrible. After checking in in the reception using Google translator because the person almost did not speak any English, we entered in our room and we saw two salamander running around. I told the man in the reception that we wanted another room and he said that this is not possible because they were full. Was late in the night and would have been a mess to try to find another hotel in Yogyakarta so we told the man that we wanted the salamanders out of our bedroom. He could manage to take one out but the other did hide and we could not find it so we had to sleep in a room with a salamander inside. This is not everything, the room was really dirty, and the towels, bedsheets and "blanket" had stains and were really old. The hotel had a totally lack of maintenance and it needs a renovation since more than 10 years. And all this with a price that, honestly, is not in the cheap range rices of Yogyakarta. We had 2 nights book but we stayed only one since this was probably one of the worst hotels we've ever been.
