My sister and I stayed at The Shala, and it was such a lovely experience. The room I had was amazing one of their newest deluxe villas with the deck facing the jungle and rice fields behind it. And walking from the main road to the accommodation takes a few minutes and was one of my favourite parts of the stay. I felt close to the action of Ubud centre, yet in the quietness and beauty of the rice fields. The staff were lovely and eager to help. Our stay was great and we hope to return😍

“My new favorite place in Ubud.”
The location is superb, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved my bungalow, the Jungle, which is secluded and set apart from everything else on the property.
After a long work day, it can be a little discouraging walking back to my bungalow. But in the end, it was never a problem.

Unser Unterkunft war wunderschön, im Wald. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Hütte, die ziemlich neu war.
Das Frühstück am ersten Tag war leider sehr enttäuschend. Für den Preis haben wir deutlich mehr erwartet – es gab nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl und nicht einmal Kaffee war enthalten. Man konnte sich lediglich Tee nehmen. Am zweiten Tag, nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, bekamen wir zwar zusätzlich etwas Obst, Müsli und etwas dicker geschnittene Brotscheibe. Für diesen Preis sollte das Frühstück deutlich umfangreicher sein. In anderen Hotels dieser Kategorie wird hier nicht gespart – so etwas kennt man eher nur von sehr günstigen Unterkünften.
