The property lived up to its reputation based on reviews regarding overall cleanliness. Nice accommodations. Great customer service provided by the front desk manager, who is very likable and capable. He communicated with drivers on my behalf, as his English is quite good. The owner is a nice Economics Professor. There are few amenities. No safe in the room, but the cupboard has a lock. My room had no foul odors, but the room next door that I visited did. I suggested they use some bicarbonate and soda to pour down the drains, a common issue in Bali hotels. No fridge. No way to heat water. No potable water for drinking. Very basic. The air conditioner was fine. The second floor was great for privacy. No noise. Nice bed, comfortable and clean. WiFi works. No hot water in the bathroom basin, but the shower worked well and was hot when I needed it. You need to ask for the room to be cleaned. However, they brought whatever I needed in terms of toilet paper, new towels, etc. They have little bamboo racks outside the room where you can hang wet clothes. The place has a nice ambience. The eatery next door is probably great; I didn’t eat there, but they stored some of my things in their fridge for me. So, I definitely recommend this place. It’s easy to locate, situated on the main road in town.
