The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs. The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent.

Gili Tenda is a little piece of paradise, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the party strip on Gili T. We were on babysitting duties for 3 grandkids under 4, so spent a lot of time at the property. The hosts and staff were amazing and very accommodating, the facilities were spot on and the glam tent accommodation was fabulous, clean and very roomy. I would highly recommend this property! Ps. Thank you to Senna for sharing your toys and playing so beautifully with our grandchildren xx

“Terrible disappointment!”
It was my second stay at Gili Tenda Resort, I had visited for the first time in 2019 just before Covid and I was amazed by this establishment, I had even left a very positive review. But in 3 years it is clear that things have changed considerably and the hotel has deteriorated rapidly. Installing canvas tents as rooms was a good eco-friendly idea, but it is clear that with time and bad weather they age very poorly and the interior of the tents has gone from light beige to green, dirty brown. We spoke with the manager who tried to clean it and said it was impossible. The pool jacuzzi was not working as it was broken, the pool lights were dirty, green with algae on them, indicating the poor maintenance of this pool which did not reassure us. The umbrella canvases and the bamboo of the bungalows have aged and have not been maintained or replaced. Getting to this hotel is difficult, the surroundings of the hotel are a real open-air dump, the hotel could still make an effort to clean up the waste for tourists. We had booked 3 nights, we didn't even spend the first night there and preferred to stay at another hotel a little further away.
