We felt very comfortable. There was delicious breakfast, the room was very large and very clean. The hostess Helen is a very lovely person and so is the entire staff.

“probably the best buy in this category in Ubud”
We really enjoyed our stay there. Indeed it is a quiet place, but not far from the city center and crowded streets (if you look forward to such entertainment). For us, it was a piece of Bali, a quiet island. Due to the rich nearby vegetation, and with a bit of imagination, you can feel yourself as in a safe forest. The hotel seems to be a family business, each member was working hard to provide the best services for their guests. The price of the room was more than OK, comparatively with the conditions. The furniture, the bathroom provided some hints about the Balinese culture. It was easy to find the location, and to check in. Even if we arrived very late in the evening! The information provided by the host made it easy to find our room, despite the fact that we arrived much later than the usual check-in time.
There is nothing to complain about. You will get anything you may expect from a relatively small hotel. Usually the small hotels might have several disadvantages compared to the large ones. You might feel that the staff is not trained enough, there is not enough knowledge and capital for some services. Thus you may sense some weaknesses in cleanliness, lack of diversity of food during meals, no transport/transfer services and so on. But here, it is not the case. Compared to their size, the services are 5*.

“Wonderful”
Staying at Metteya Space was a wonderful experience, much more than just a stay. I had a great time and, even today, I think of those days with a smile and a bit of nostalgia. Helen was fantastic from the moment of booking: even before my arrival, she helped me organize various tours, allowing me to make the most of my time in Ubud. It was a fantastic choice because the tours were truly wonderful: she took us to discover magical places and incredible corners that I probably would never have seen on my own. The property is beautiful and located on a small side street, away from the noise, so it is really quiet and peaceful, yet convenient for experiencing Ubud. The room was cleaned every day and everything was always well-maintained and clean. And then the breakfast... probably the best I have ever eaten during a trip! There was always an excellent selection every day and everything was truly delicious. But what I will cherish the most is the atmosphere, the welcome, and the kindness of Helen. I felt so good and at home that when the time came to leave, I even cried. ❤️ Everything was beautiful: the property, the breakfast, the tours, the places we visited, and above all the people. An experience that I will carry in my heart forever. If I return to Ubud, I would have no doubts about where to stay again.
