“To be avoided”
The comfortable rooms, despite what the photos show, are not individual bungalows but semi-detached with little sound insulation. Additionally, the shower and toilet are outside with a view of the hotel's access paths: you can easily be seen. It is absolutely necessary not to leave your toiletry bag in the bathroom because in the early morning the sink is filled with dirt from the night animals. The pool seems to be a diversion from the river, so very cool but especially not cleaned as the walls are full of green moss. Credit card payments are charged 2% and all rates are excluding taxes and service fees (including laundry and massage) even though this is not indicated. Every day we had problems: no change on the first day for our payment, billing of another table at dinner, cancellation of our massage without notice even though we were communicating via WhatsApp but still charged, and above all, total scam on the taxi. To leave, all Grab drivers asked for 250/300k in cash to accept the rides. After several refusals, the receptionist offered the hotel taxi at 250k. When we arrived at our next destination, the fare had increased to 350k! They maintain that it was the announced price but why would we have agreed to pay more when the Grab drivers asked for less?! The hotel seems nice but should be avoided.
