The location by the sea, the terrace, the size of the room. The air conditioning too. Possibility to rent a scooter and go snorkeling.

Generally acceptable but issues noted: mosquitoes in the bathroom, some rustic/need-for-repair elements (shower floor) and occasional run-down areas.
Consistently praised staff: friendly, accommodating, prepared breakfasts to-go, helpful with bookings and rentals; service is a strong highlight.
Excellent beachfront position with direct access to snorkeling (Jemeluk Beach), easy spotting of turtles and close to local points of interest.
Rooms described as spacious and charming in many cases, but some have unusual layouts (outdoor showers, split levels, steep stairs) and need minor repairs.
Small but appreciated pool, direct sea access, scooter/snorkel rental available (snorkel equipment is paid and cash-only), some AC issues reported and no hairdryer in some rooms.
Multiple comments that the hotel is a bit expensive and extra costs (snorkeling equipment rental, cash-only) reduce perceived value.
Breakfast repeatedly praised as good and copious; guests enjoyed simple but tasty options though some asked for slightly more variety.
Overall very positive: peaceful atmosphere, great location and service create a pleasant stay despite minor issues (stairs, some maintenance, small pool).

Meal by the beach. Beach view. The pool is very convenient for swimming. Impeccable meal and service.
Room deserves better: the bathroom is outdated (toilet seat and curtain facing the main entrance door of the room)

Clean room. Nice pool. Overall, the hotel is like the majority of other accommodations in Amed: dated and poorly maintained.
Quite an old and poorly maintained hotel... yet it wouldn't take much to make it more welcoming. Some rooms are on several levels with stairs not always easy. The bathrooms are quite rustic. Disappointed compared to the photos on the website.

Beachfront hotel. Quiet and close to everything at the same time. Original rooms all different. Beautiful pool, good breakfast. Very attentive staff.
Room on 3 levels (shower on the ground floor, toilet and sink on the 1st, bed on the 3rd) good for our teenager but maybe complicated for a couple.
