“Cozy and snug stay.”
The tranquility and atmosphere were relaxing. Small-scale and cozy.
Reasonably remote from other attractions.

Beautiful setting seems to be in the middle of nature, excellent food and great costs, lovely pool.
Apart from forgetting to pick us up at the airport because they didn't read our confirmation message, and forgetting to prepare breakfast for us on the day we had an excursion with their driver, so we had to find something to eat on the way... Charging us for the fifth bed when we were four....

Quiet property, surrounded by greenery, with a pool and a good warung to eat, card payments, affordable laundry service, close to two smaller waterfalls, mineral water refills available in the common area.
Dark room, only one towel per person, breakfast service on request not very punctual, not very clean sheets (with some scattered dark stains), surrounding area lacking major services but still authentic and quiet, 30-45 minutes grab ride from Ubud center.

A little paradise just south of Ubud. Everything looks just like in the photos and is even more amazing in person, as the warm staff truly make your stay a special experience. The food is fantastic, especially considering the value for money. All meals can be enjoyed from a very comprehensive menu. The pool is great, the family room (No.5) with 5 beds is very spacious and the bathroom with a half-open roof (above the shower) is simply amazing. Everything is very clean and the room is cleaned every day. The owner once took us to Ubud himself and told us a lot about his small resort. There is an absolutely family atmosphere to experience there, including an old man who takes care of the garden in the morning and a woman with a basket on her head who distributes incense sticks on the grounds and leaves small gift packages. I also enjoyed a great massage. Last but not least, the location is worth mentioning. You can see a small rice field with large palm trees behind it from the restaurant, simply beautiful. The surroundings were very quiet during our stay (especially at night). Also great is the small but fine waterfall (just a short walk through the forest), which few visitors seem to know about - but only accessible by an extremely steep and very narrow staircase. However, the waterfall is all the more beautiful with a bit of adventure - you can walk through a pleasantly cool river up to your hips to the other side and then get right up to the waterfall. The masses of water become even more impressive this way. Wet and happy, you can then shower directly in your room and don't have to drive a long way to experience such a great waterfall. Ubud is an absolute chaos traffic-wise.
We have nothing to complain about. It would be nice to have some new sun loungers and especially 2-3 umbrellas, as there is no shade to lie by the pool directly (depending on the position of the sun).
