Great Stay!! friendly staff, surprisingly good breakfast (for the price) and super comfortable bed. Not too far from the Sunset beach but I would recommend to get a horse carriage or ebike to go to the hotel and around. the hotel is away from the main road so its very quiet at night, Great sleep. Recommend!

Once you get past the run down reception the view of the garden area down the middle between the cottages is pretty and well maintained. After we had serious water leaking through the ceiling in our initial room causing me to slip, we finally got moved to a new room which was much better than the first room. We were informed the new rooms/cottages were only just finished start of August and the bed was very comfortable. The aircon in the newly finished room worked very well.
Extremely disappointing experience. Reception was frequently unattended, and when staff were present, they were often on their phones and barely looked up to acknowledge guests. The property was poorly maintained and, in several areas, felt unsafe. Light fixtures were missing, leaving electrical wires hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling itself was covered with stapled, stained pillowcases. Taps were loose, nails and screws protruded from walls, curtains were half hanging from their poles, and the air-conditioning units barely worked. The steps into the rooms were angled, making them very tricky to use safely. Cleanliness was also a serious concern. Fans, bin lids, showers, bedding and floors were all very dirty. Water leaked from the ceiling onto the tiled floor, creating a dangerous slipping hazard. Most concerning was the manager’s response. Rather than addressing the issues, he appeared unwilling to help and told us he would rather have us all leave. The property requires substantial cleaning, maintenance and attention to guest safety. I would not recommend staying here in its current condition. The location of the property is a short cycle from the main drag and the smell in the area around the property is quite bad in places.
