Cleanliness
8.9
Multiple guests called the villa spotless and very clean, though one guest reported a bathroom drainage smell and another noted rubble on the hillside — slightly lowers the otherwise excellent cleanliness.
Service
9.3
Staff repeatedly praised as extremely helpful and attentive (Andrew, Gunawan and team called out), going above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay.
Location
9.3
Stunning, central location with sensational views and close to the beach, restaurants and ferries; however the property is on a steep hill with many stairs which some guests flagged.
Room quality
9.2
Rooms and villas described as very roomy, well appointed, brand-new and high quality with private pools; a few guests suggested minor finishing touches/decor or more plants.
Amenities
9.2
Private plunge/infinity pools, large outdoor spaces, working AC/fans and included Ohana club access were praised; no gym was noted but private facilities compensate.
Value for money
9.0
Several guests described it as excellent value (‘a lot of bang for a lot of buck’) while one felt the villa could use updates, so overall strong value perception.
Food & drinks
8.6
Breakfast and Ohana club food described as very nice, but limited service options (no breakfast delivery) and minor service messaging issues slightly lowered this category.
Overall experience
9.2
Consistently raved-about stays (honeymooners, repeat guests, many ‘absolutely amazing’ comments) with minor negatives (stairs, small maintenance/cleanliness issues) that do not overshadow the overall excellent experience.

“Amazing, beautiful view, great location.”
Amazing location, right in the heart of the nicer restaurants on the island. Short, pretty stroll to the beach. Very clean villa with good air con and private pool. Great reception staff, very helpful.
The villa is built into a hill so there’s 50-100 steps depending on which villa you get. May not be suitable for some people.

From arrival until we leave the luxury hotel, the service is the best we have experienced. Nice clean and spacious room with 2 bathrooms and a small private pool with a beautiful view towards Mount Agung volcano. Good breakfast at Bar Riva and good service. As we have to leave early with the ferry, they made our ordered food into a packed lunch. The area is a really nice place, close to Song Lambung Beach, where we can sail for free to the pontoon by Lago, where you can snorkel. If possible, we would love to return to the hotel.
Everything is perfect.

This villa was absolutely fantastic it seems expensive for Bali but worth every penny. We even stayed an extra night which the staff was great working that into our holiday. We just didn’t want to leave.

“Beautiful villas with expansive views and close to everything.”
Beautiful large balcony with private pool and extensive views over the beach and accompanying landscape. Full-size fridge and kitchen with all necessary facilities. Large living and dining area which opened up fully onto the balcony and the view. Extremely comfortable bedroom with large ensuite.
This is not a place for people with mobility issues. It is at the top of a very steep hill, hence the great views, but this entails difficult access both from the street above and down to the beach and restaurants at the bottom. The 'Bali' style steps are very steep and constantly differing in size and rise. There are approx. 20 steps from the street down to the highest villa, where we stayed, and then another 230 odd steps down to the beach. The mitigating factor is that Aqua Nusa do run a shuttle bus somewhat on demand to and from the village. They will also carry your baggage and deliver food if requested. I would definitely stay there again, but just be warned.
