We particularly appreciated the quality of service and the warm welcome from the entire team. The staff is very kind, always smiling, attentive, and available. Our room was very well located, in a beautiful, lush, and relaxing setting. A true haven of peace in the heart of Ubud. We also took part in an exceptional cooking class, a friendly and gourmet experience that we highly recommend! The hotel's restaurant and spa are also worth discovering.

The breakfast was very good, although the concept is somewhat unusual - and above all, in need of explanation. The pool is nicely located, but the shading at the lounging areas did not work, or was broken. The hotel's architecture is very beautiful, but also showing signs of age. The fruit in the room was a very nice touch.
Our room was right across from the reception and we had no privacy, we always had to close the curtains when entering the room. Everyone from the restaurant could also look into our room. So the otherwise beautiful balcony remained completely unused. We could hear every phone call from the reception and the restaurant, as well as the conversations, despite closed windows. The room always smelled musty and the bed linen was very damp, which is due to the climate. Two extremely small water bottles per room are a bit insufficient. There is a lack of seating in the room, one person always has to lie on the bed. What bothered us the most was the huge waste of food, although the hotel is not to blame, many guests order all the items on the breakfast menu just to take photos for social media and eat nothing or very little. Everything is then discarded. This behavior should not be tolerated by the hotel.
