The friendliness of the staff was incredible. Very helpful and always cheerful. They also treat each other very friendly. The cooking class was a lot of fun. The food was typically Balinese. Surrounded by lush gardens and rice terraces, you feel like you're in Ubud. It exudes an atmosphere of the original Bali
The staircase in the bungalow is a bit steep.

Authentic, peaceful, spiritual. Super friendly and efficient staff, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent and varied choice of accommodation. Various activities to try. Owner and family very friendly and hospitable. Very good food, chef very accommodating. Excellent spa with wonderful treatments. Away from the hubbub of Canggu but very accessible to get around

We stayed there for 3 nights two years ago and we LOVED it. KTS is my first crush for Bali and it will remain so. The welcome and kindness of the staff are exceptional. Mira, who was on a day off but remembered us and came to say hello to us in the morning before we left. The manager Vrira (I'm not sure of the spelling) who, when she recognized me from afar, ran to hug me, these are unforgettable moments that warm the heart. I know that if we return to Bali again, we will stay at KTS again, that's for sure. Everything is beautiful, it's relaxing. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and it was delicious.
The only downside for us who came two years ago is that work has been done and we find that it has lost some of its charm that we loved so much. The bamboo structures that were beautiful with a nice little bridge have been replaced by bricks and we find it really a shame. It was what made all the beauty and charm of this site in our eyes of course.

Old and well used. 48hrs and the service lost its shine & the chef disappeared replaced by teenagers cooking.
Old, rusty and faulty or not working Gym. Under-cooked food. Poorly mixed drinks.
