“More than just an accommodation - a very special experience”
We arrived at Villa Patria with open mouths - we were so overwhelmed by this extraordinary accommodation. Everywhere there are beautiful, unique works of art and special details to discover. The first evening already felt a bit like 'Night at the Museum' for us, except that we were allowed to live right in the middle of it. But what makes this special place at least equally unique are the people. Especially Wayan, who made our stay truly special with her incredibly warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic and wonderfully complemented our stay. Villa Patria is truly a very special place. The combination of exceptional art, the beautiful atmosphere, the fantastic food, and above all the warm hospitality deeply impressed us.

“A truly authentic and wonderful place to stay in Lovina”
Villa Patria is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places we stayed during our trip to Bali. Perched in the hills above Lovina, it is a truly authentic Balinese villa, beautifully decorated with character, unique pieces and wonderful Asian art and objects. The garden is absolutely stunning, lush and beautifully maintained, and the infinity pool offers an incredible view over the sea and the coast of Lovina. It is the kind of place where you immediately feel at peace and could happily spend the entire day enjoying the surroundings. What makes Villa Patria particularly special, however, is the wonderful staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive and thoughtful, while remaining discreet and respectful. A special mention to Wayan, who was absolutely lovely and took such great care of us throughout our stay. Her kindness and attention to detail really made a difference. The whole experience feels very personal and authentic, far from the atmosphere of a standard hotel. The setting, the decoration, the garden, the view and especially the people all make Villa Patria a very special place. We would highly recommend Villa Patria to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful and beautifully designed place to stay in Bali. We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Villa Patria was absolutely the most beautiful villa where we stayed during our 25-day trip to Bali, the garden is truly beautiful, the 2-person villa great and the food is excellent, the staff is superb especially Wayan is so sweet and also manager Oka is always ready if you have a question. Our clothes were washed and returned to us folded, smelling lovely and clean. We will really miss Villa Patria.

Our stay in Villa Patria was great, and absolutely met expectations. Wayan was extremely kind and helpful, and together with the other staff they fulfilled our wishes, responded to endless questions, and gave us very good tips for getting to know the country and culture. The food was excellent, the best mahi-mahi we had on the island. The villa is spacious and surrounded by a very nice garden with a pool. They arranged transport to Lovina and other places as needed with high flexibility.
You need to be ready for a long (and eventually tiring) journey from Ngurah Rai airport to the villa. Although Google Maps estimated it to be around 3 hours, it finally took 5. It depends a lot on the traffic, driver, and car you have.
