“Friendly staff and good kitchen, but worn hotel”
The room felt private
The pictures of the hotel are accurate, but they must have been taken when the hotel was new. It is worn out with stains on sheets, towels, and sunbed by the pool. Stayed only 2 nights even though we paid for 5. There are ongoing construction works at the hotel which affect the stay. It should be clear when booking that they are renovating and expanding the hotel. Disturbing noise and dust. The information on booking.com is not correct as they do not offer a shuttle to Ubud every hour. The staff is friendly and will book a shuttle for you.

“I want to stay again”
We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa, and it was several times more wonderful than it looks in the photos. Many cute monkeys came to eat the fruits from the trees on the property, and we enjoyed spending a few hours by the poolside. The staff is very kind and solved various issues before we even asked. The breakfast and all meals at the restaurant were delicious. And reasonably priced; we ordered lunch twice and dinner twice. It was the best accommodation we have stayed in so far. Thank you.

“The monkeys were cool to watch eating the local fruit in the jungle.”
Dewa from the front desk was amazing. We would have re-booked elsewhere if it weren't for his kind service. Breakfast was better than expected. We had great memories of staying here 10 years ago, and from the current photos on booking.com, it appeared to be in the same condition. This was unfortunately not the case. One day in the future, hopefully, this will be great again, as it was ten years ago.
New management has aimed to cut costs instead of increasing the value of the business. No maintenance had been done on the villas. Laminated signs all over the property telling guests what not to do. Overall a little grubby, particularly the pool, and just not up to expectations for the money charged - other locations in Ubud for similar value provide better value for money. The Ubud shuttle had also been discontinued, making the location challenging. Amenities like water and coffee were the cheapest possible options available. There were many projects going on within close proximity to the rooms and very little privacy in some of the rooms.
