“Disappointing”
The breakfast was fine. You had a view of the kitchen and the meals were freshly prepared. Especially the Mie goreng was very good. This accommodation might be very suitable for people looking for peace and nature.
The accommodation is very remote: Ubud center is at least a 30-minute drive away, and during the high season, this can increase to 1-1.5 hours due to traffic. Supermarkets and a varied restaurant offer are lacking in the immediate vicinity, so you are mostly dependent on the accommodation's restaurant. This is not ideal for those who like to explore the surroundings and enjoy variety. The host repeatedly promoted paid extra services such as taxi rides and tours, both in person and via WhatsApp. When refused, he reacted defensively and annoyed. Also, the communicated prices for taxi rides and tours varied regularly, which did not give a reliable impression. Unfortunately, the rooms did not meet expectations... We stayed in two adjoining rooms. When one room was showering, the other room had no hot water and very low water pressure. Both rooms are advertised on booking.com with a TV. In one (of the two) room(s), there was no TV, and TV use turned out to be paid through a separate system (pay per movie/program: Netflix dashboard). In addition, we found rusty batteries in the remote control. Furthermore, the fan was rusted and not working in one of the rooms, there was dust and cobwebs under the bed and in drawers, dirt and food packaging residues were found under and behind the furniture, the kettle was full of limescale, there was a sewer smell near the toilet, leakages occurred after rainfall, the access doors did not close properly, there was an ant infestation, the curtains were dirty, the pool was not clean and therefore unusable for us. Although the Mie Goreng was very tasty, the dishes were very dirty (deposits on the cups and glasses). Finally, the accommodation is not suitable for people with disabilities due to the many stairs and uneven levels. All in all, the above has led us to decide to end our stay prematurely.

They provide amazing food. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. They also offer bike and vehicle rentals.
The room's floor and walls show their age and could be improved.
