I stayed here with my wife and 5 young children. We had a lovely suite where 2 of our children could sleep in the 'front room' and another room where the other 3 children stayed. The tranquility that the hotel and its staff exude is amazing. We really enjoyed it!
The sun no longer shines in the pool fairly early. Fortunately, they have a large sunbathing area on the side where you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine on your towel.

The colonial-style building is very beautiful. My view from the restaurant is superb and the staff is very kind.
But our room was on a very busy road day and night so a lot of noise, and the hotel is old. Lots of things need to be redone, very humid in the rooms so a musty smell.

We recently enjoyed a memorable 8-night stay at Rumah Luwih. As IHG Diamond Elite members, we were delighted to be upgraded to a stunning ocean-view suite. A special thank you to the manager, Irham, who greeted us personally at check-in—a wonderful touch! The hotel lobby is grand, airy, and truly has a 'wow' factor from the moment you step inside. Our suite was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean—literally so spotless my feet squeaked on the floor! Watching the sets of waves roll onto the shore from our room was pure bliss. The hotel grounds are equally magnificent. We loved strolling around the lush, meticulously maintained gardens, the large pond (complete with a charming family of swans), and the expansive infinity pool. Kudos to the landscaping team for keeping everything so pristine. Beyond the beautiful resort, what made our stay truly unforgettable was the warm genuine hospitality. We enjoyed many meals at the restaurant, which offers a great variety of delicious options, and the entire staff treated us like family. When it was time to check out, several team members came out to wish us safe travels and a warm farewell. It was a wonderfully relaxing retreat, and we already can't wait to return to Rumah Luwih.
