Employees were rude
There was a strange smell in the hotel. The key cards were not working. There was no restaurant or café around the hotel. The room and sheets were dirty. I made a reservation trusting the Ibis brand. A complete disappointment.

We could find breakfast very close across the street, ideal, we visited a different restaurant every morning. The basics were good for our first nights of the holiday! People at the front desk were always willing to answer our questions

The location was good. The room was extremely basic, but if you are out all day and only use it for sleeping, it was fine in terms of price/quality.
Very basic, but that's what you expect for that price.

The position
The worst hotel of our entire trip to Indonesia. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty, with stains on the bed sheets, curtains, and towels, and the windows were clearly not clean. We stayed for two nights, and on the second night we had a serious problem with our room door: it suddenly stopped opening, even though the key appeared to be working. We went to reception and then had to wait three hours while a technician tried to fix the problem. Eventually, we were advised to change rooms and leave all our luggage inside the original room, even though we were checking out the following morning. After we complained, they finally decided to make a hole in the wall in order to open the door. Overall, a very poor experience. There are definitely much better hotels to choose from in Jakarta, and we would not recommend staying here.
