Situated a stones throw from the port, scallywags, with its delightful villas, has all the basic amenities you need for an amazing stay on Gili Air (including conditioner which was hard to come by!). The staff were lovely and we would particularly like to thank Arya for his hospitality and close attention to ensuring we had a great stay. Every night of our stay, there was a delicious BBQ offering local food, including lobster which could be scarce, subject to the fisherman’s catch. The beach is superb with plenty of sun loungers. Unfortunately, the diving centre was closed during our visit but there were plenty of other options on the island. Thanks again to the wonderful staff, we will be back soon! - Kate and Lorenzo

“Love staying there”
Had a great room, plenty of space. Comfortable bed, great shower and aircon. Beach was just over a road which only saw cycles and the odd horse. Great view of the sea while eating breakfast. BUT the smell of the rubbish waiting to be removed from the beach was not great. Not the hotel fault but needs something done about it.

The photos are misleading. There is no pool. And the beach in front of the hotel is unsanitary. Scam on the location as well: 2 sites of this hotel on the island: - one is located by the sea in front of a beach near the port and dirty, with all the island's garbage being placed every evening. So, simply follow the foul smells to find the hotel... - the other site is in the center of the island... right next to the mosque. Hear the call to prayer at best you are there. IMPOSSIBLE to get bikes. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Staff is not very available and not very helpful. It's a change from Bali! Seaside rooms are very old and have aged without maintenance after years of Covid. Outrageously expensive. I don't understand the good ratings on booking sites!!!! Knowing that everything is false. Long live Photoshop! ADVICE: there are really very beautiful hotels on the island. So do not be mistaken. Ideally, prefer the East and West coasts which are very nice. And especially much less unsanitary. Oh, additional costs are charged to you when on the Expedia site it is either not indicated, or not the announced rate. Long live the gullible tourists....
