“The hotel is quite good, and close to everywhere :D”
The staff is friendly and polite, but the weakness is in its facilities..:( Requested for towels twice, always told they are still in the laundry.. Stayed for 3 days, towels were not changed.. Lucky brought from home.. -_-

“Downstairs rooms need improvement”
The room I was assigned to on the ground floor had windows facing the parking area, so I couldn't open the curtains most of the time, and there was regular noise from cars/people. The room is spacious, but this (along with a relatively stable Wi-Fi connection, when available) was the main reason I wasn't completely disappointed. However, the room itself definitely needs improvement, it looks too cheap for its price, almost like a local cheap room, and certainly not as nice as in the pictures. The location is decent, away from Malioboro but with many warungs and restaurants nearby. If you want to visit an upscale restaurant (or a bar), head to Jl. Prawirotaman (just a 7-minute walk), which seems to be a tourist area second only to Jl. Sosrowijayan. Overall, the atmosphere of this area is much more local than the latter, yet you are certainly not in the middle of nowhere.
