The pool wasn't very clean and could have used some repairs.
Very friendly and polite staff.
Location was on a busy road, but not far from a side street with restaurants and other hotels.
Indah palace is not as depicted in the photos. It was older and more run down.
The hotel had an old Indonesian charm, but the electrics were unusual.
For the price, you can find a much nicer hotel in Yog.
No one asked us about food preferences; breakfast didn't cater to vegetarian needs.
Nice atmosphere with room for improvement in specific areas.

A short walk away from the main road full of restaurants, bars, shops and tourism without being loud or busy- this was our favourite area in Jogjakarta and possibly Indah was our favourite hotel we stayed in overall during our month in Indonesia. Great location Reasonably priced Clean, rather large rooms with hot showers Friendly staff Great, quiet pool and communal spaces Easy place to be
The restaurant/cafe by the pool was never manned by a staff member whilst we were staying

The location
A 'palace'? very tired... It's a shame, the building really has potential, it probably had its glory days... but now it's just a bit of a rubbish hotel: poorly managed, really poorly maintained. To be avoided, there are much better options for the price in the area.
