I stayed in Yogyakarta to see the Borobudur and Prambanan temples. This hotel offers a reasonable stay for the money. If you're going out, please be advised that traffic in the city can be very bad, especially in the evening. Also, be prepared to hear loudspeakers from nearby mosques (I heard them only the first night, the second was okay).

Nice garden and pool, quiet area but a stone's throw from Prawirotaman, where there are many restaurants. The room is a bit old but spacious. The major problem is the lack of cleanliness: dirt accumulations on the window frames, stained towels, etc. Quite unpleasant! Indonesian breakfast, nothing Western, only possibly an omelette. Lack of cleanliness is the major issue, the rest would be acceptable. Very nice garden and good central position in a quiet neighborhood.

Very good access to restaurants. Very quiet. The bedroom floor was not cleaned every day, so a bit disappointing. They made the bed and changed the towel every day. When we came back from our trip, they always brought a little snack. It was a nice stay.
