“Good compromise for the area”
The location is close to the port, restaurants, and shops. We had a 'superior modern' room on the first floor of the white building at the back of the resort: these are the most decent rooms: comfortable bed, functional air conditioning, small balcony with pool/garden view, mini fridge, safe, hot shower, wifi. Breakfast is decent in buffet form. Outdoor cinema every evening.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the common areas need to be improved, especially the pool and its surroundings, breakfast tables are not cleared after each guest, our shower was a bit clogged (water did not drain quickly), water pressure was a bit low. We could hear the boat sirens in the morning and the call to prayer at 5 am. Housekeeping starts knocking on doors at 8:30/9 am. The beach in front is crowded with boats but heading to the right (West), the beach is nicer and relatively clean. The water is shallow for swimming with a lot of dead corals (water shoes recommended)

The proximity to the port is a real advantage.
The pool did not seem very clean and the rooms are not well soundproofed, worse in the bathroom you could hear the conversations from the next room.
