Multiple guests reported cleanliness issues: room not cleaned for two days, balcony/doors allowing insects in, spider infestations and bites — clear negative impact on cleanliness.
Service is consistently praised across reviews: friendly, attentive staff, special mention of staff member (Toto); many describe personnel as very welcoming and caring.
Highly appreciated setting amid rice fields — peaceful and scenic, about 10 minutes from Ubud center. Note: some guests mention it is a bit far from main attractions if you lack transport.
Rooms are described as spacious, bright and well equipped with terraces and comfortable bedding; however a few reports note issues like balcony doors not closing and insect presence in some rooms.
Good amenities overall: attractive pool (but often shaded/cool), on-site restaurant, scooter rental available. Pool orientation limits sun exposure which reduces enjoyment for some guests.
Not strongly quantified in reviews; mixed signals — some feel services match the price and nearby dining is affordable, while meal/cleanliness issues reduce perceived value.
Mixed feedback: several guests found meals average or slightly disappointing, while others enjoyed the breakfast and dinner and called them delicious; overall slightly below the hotel's other strengths.
Overall very positive: many guests describe their stay as superb, peaceful and relaxing with friendly staff and beautiful views; negatives (cleanliness, pool temperature, occasional mediocre meals) lower but do not dominate the overall sentiment.
