“Terrible”
The breakfast was fine.
On Booking, there was no correct information regarding the rooms/ the information was presented very favorably: 3-person room is 45m2 and there would be high-speed internet. The room was barely 20m2 and the internet kept cutting out and barely worked. It may be because we had a room that was very far from the lobby. The safe was broken, we were supposed to get another room the next day, but instead, the safe was fixed. When inquired about the 45m2 room, it was stated that there are no 45m2 rooms and that they would correct this with Booking. Currently, Booking states an area of 26m2, but this is also incorrect. Normally, I wouldn't mind this, but because I am traveling with 2 teenagers, I specifically booked this hotel because of the spacious room and good working internet. My stay was ultimately terrible. The hotel also refused to change the room. In the evening, I ended up sitting mainly in the lobby, where there were a lot of mosquitoes. Twice, we were also woken up at 6 in the morning because people were trying to enter our room, perhaps mistaking it for theirs. The pools were also very shallow and more like kiddie pools. I would definitely not recommend this hotel if you have teenagers or adolescents. Furthermore, the information is incorrect, which I find unacceptable.

I have been staying in Indonesia for about six weeks now and have become accustomed to the fact that Islam plays an important role in daily life. The calls to prayer broadcasted through speakers are part of that and are present in many places. At this hotel, however, the mosque is located right next to the hotel. As a result, the prayers and religious activities are very clearly audible in the rooms. During my stay, I experienced a religious ceremony (around Eid al-Adha) that was audible for a long time and that activities also started early in the morning. For guests who are sensitive to noise or like to sleep in, it is good to take this into account in advance. A positive aspect is that the rooms have double sliding doors to the balcony, which helps reduce the noise when closed. Furthermore, this is a good hotel with very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. My comment is not intended as criticism of the hotel or the local culture, but as practical information for future guests who value peace and quiet.
