“Rather mixed”
Magnificent sea view. Upon our arrival, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering that we had booked a connecting room, but it did not connect to ours but to someone else's. It was problematic for our two children. So be careful if you book on booking to get confirmation by email from the hotel. They offered us a solution that worked despite everything. However, we found the cleaning approximate, bedding quite old, the rooms do not close completely (they have shutters that let air pass through) so we were disturbed by mosquitoes and did not have mosquito nets (only repellent but it's uncomfortable to sleep). No shampoo or shower gel available, which is rare in Bali. The hotel is relatively isolated, close to Tamarind beach, very pretty, but for the rest it is difficult to get around without a vehicle. And taxis are more expensive than in Bali. Around, a lot of construction work and rubble (as everywhere in the center of the island). However, the beauty of the beaches, the kindness of the staff, and the good breakfasts made our stay enjoyable.
