“HAVEN OF PEACE IN RICE FIELDS OF UBUD”
We stayed in a villa with a private pool overlooking the rice fields. It was our final stay during our honeymoon, and we couldn't think of a better way to end it. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, the villa and its surroundings offer a magical haven of peace. With beautiful walks, sunsets/sunrises over the rice fields. The workers take you back and forth in an electric buggy from a designated area (2 mins) because cars cannot enter the rice field area where the villa is located. The decoration of each room in the villa is very well maintained. The outdoor pool area is the icing on the cake. We loved the floating breakfasts and romantic dinner. The guided trekking and massages, too. The workers' attention was very personal and friendly at all times. We also met the manager, and we were even invited to their semi-annual ceremony. They fumigate the area every week to control the mosquito issue, which is much appreciated being in the middle of nature.
For us, it was not a problem at all, but if you are a bit clumsy or somewhat older, getting in and out of the pool may not be entirely comfortable, as ours at least lacked stairs or similar.
