“It's great!”
Located on a quiet hill beyond the forest in a traditional village reminiscent of Bali's original scenery, this peaceful bungalow offers a splendid view of the sea from the terrace. The rooms are simple but clean and well-maintained, with ample hot water. I stayed from late June to early July and found the fan sufficient for cooling (no need for it at night). Noteworthy is the host's hospitality, assisting with various matters from meals to activities, such as arranging transfers to the Lempuyang Temple at dawn or trekking tours through the vast rice terraces of Tirtagangga. The staff is reliable and always ready to help with a great sense of distance. The villagers are also very friendly. Whether relaxing with a book, working (with no Wi-Fi issues), exploring the surroundings, or stargazing at night, you won't get bored no matter how many days you stay. I would like to stay longer next time.
There are no restaurants within walking distance, but menus from nearby restaurants are available (a must-visit scenic restaurant run by former staff is also recommended!), and delivery is possible, so it wasn't inconvenient. It may not satisfy those looking for nightlife, but it's perfect for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time!
