Perfect welcome and support by Dani, the owner. He can guide you throughout the day, to visit the famous waterfalls, or see the ikat weavers, or even visit the bamboo village and see the bamboo and wicker weavers at work. Also take your laundry to the laundry, etc... Excellent traditional breakfast. Guaranteed immersive experience

We rented the 2 bungalows together with our family, with stunning views over the valley. The bungalows are neat and well-maintained, especially the terrace with a hammock is a nice place to spend the evening. Our guide Anip made this adventure complete: he took us out for 2 days, walking in the rice fields, tasting fruits, searching for monkeys (and found them!) in the forests, riding on a scooter to a market, and even a cooking workshop with his lovely family. He was very caring and attentive to our sons (10 and 12 years old). He even walked with us to a waterfall because our sons really wanted to jump off the rocks! The owner was always available for our questions and quickly arranged a taxi to our next destination. A successful stay!
The bungalows fully met our expectations. One small suggestion: Because the bungalows are rather narrow, there is no closet or chair to put your backpack or clothes on. There are hangers and hooks though.

Fantastic view from this place! Hot water! Free water during your stay. Staff are really nice and helpful! They have raincoats and umbrella. The terrace is very nice. There're MANY warungs nearby this place (also many which aren't on Google maps). So just pick a choice 😉 No need to think you'll have to walk for a long time to have something to eat. In the evenings it gets cold. So bring warm clothes. Also for the night's. And a good idea to bring a headlamp when you are going out for dinner, since it's totally dark. You'll need to walk down several stairs and then up several stairs to get to the bungalow. They can be slippery, and also very hard if you aren't stable on your legs. Same in the evenings, when you'll have to walk this way after dinner (bring light).

We had a perfect stay in Selatan Rinjani. The host was so kind and helpful, always ready to answer our questions even if he wasn't there. If you need a calm place to calm down and relax as well as experience local culture - it'll be a perfect choice. We appreciated a great location - a bit hidden, just a few steps from the main road and you're in the heart of the forest in a simple but cozy and clean bungalow with a beautiful view from the terrace. You can hear the waterfall murmur and watch the monkeys playing around 🐒 Sounds of nature at night are awesome to enjoy on the hammock. There's a lot to explore nearby - waterfalls, rice fields, exceptional food. We didn't need anything more 💚.
