At 250€ per night, this villa is a real scam. The accommodation is old and very poorly maintained: the floors are old and dirty, the curtains dirty and torn, rusted cooking plates, no cushions on the extremely uncomfortable wooden seats, and a simple bathroom sink in the kitchen. To make matters worse, the bedside lamps do not work (you have to unplug them to turn them off) and only one key is provided for 3 rooms, locked by a low-end padlock. Finally, the host is completely unreachable and fails to mention that very noisy construction work is taking place during the day (earplugs are provided as a "solution"). Considering the cost of furniture in Indonesia, renting a property in this condition at this price is simply unacceptable.

**Review of Villa Bagheera — AVOID** We stayed at Villa Bagheera from August 6–11, 2026, 5 guests. This place does not match the listing photos and we deeply regret booking it. Communication was a major issue from the start — staff had very limited English, making it hard to report problems or get anything resolved during our stay. The upstairs shower simply didn't work for the entire trip, forcing all 5 of us to share the single downstairs bathroom every evening — completely unmanageable for a group our size. The property is visibly much older than advertised, with blackened, deteriorating bamboo throughout. The bamboo walls offer almost no privacy between rooms. Over just 5 days, the following broke down, one after another: the ground floor air conditioning, the oven, the upstairs bathroom light, and the kitchen flooded. Hygiene standards were also below acceptable. We filed a complaint through Booking.com requesting a partial refund, and the property has not responded at all. As a Genius Level 3 member, I strongly recommend Booking.com remove this property from its listings. Do not book Villa Bagheera — don't let the photos fool you.

The villa was beautifully put together and felt so tranquil. The beds were comfy and there was enough space for 5 of us. The staff were helpful and the location was good if you hired bikes to get around.
Nothing really. The pool was a bit cold but very refreshing!
