“Suspicious and weird.”
When arriving at, what was supposed to be a hotel, there was no check-in. There is no entrance. I had to text the host and she told me to meet at a dentist shop in the nearby mall. While waiting here, she texted that I had to pay a big amount of money as “deposit”, because the payment through booking.com had failed… I didn’t believe anything of this. She also said we had to pay cash. When the host (a man and a woman) finally arrived, we had to walk to the “hotel”. We walked very far, through the mall, through the parking garage. It was very suspicious and weird. We went up a building and finally arrived at which seemed to be someone’s apartment. This was NOT a hotel. We have not seen a swimming pool as the pictures claim they have. It does not look anything like the pictures. There were no other guests, just other people living there. The whole situation felt weird and suspicious. I did not want to pay the amount of money, because I didn’t trust it. We didn’t accept any staying like this, so we asked if we could please leave. They send us through the whole building again, back into the mall.
