The host’s family was lovely and very helpful to us. They offered us driving services around Lombok and assisted us when one of our party became very ill.
The house was not clean, and it had not been prepared for our arrival. The bathroom and kitchen in particular did not seem hygienic. We also had a rat in our room, which was very distressing.
