Location was perfect as it was right next to the horse riding place and very close to the beach. Best of all it was super private and tucked away from everyone else.
Would have liked to stay longer in this super chill and relaxing environment.

This is a gem of a hotel. The only locally run hotel in the area. The owner is great to talk to about the local area and culture. He couldn’t be more helpful and kind giving advice about places to go and organising transport. There is such attention to detail in the design. It feels very special. The owner had made it all from reclaimed wood and there are touches to try to make it more eco liking offering filtered water for free.
It is a bit of a walk from bars and restaurants along the beach. This is a lovely walk but we were wary of the dogs that bark guarding each property as you walk at night. That is nothing to do with the hotel though- we just were scared of the dogs.

The appearance of the pool with the huts is beautiful, but further...
We wonder where those incredibly positive reactions come from and if they are real. Of all our 6 locations in Bali, this was the most expensive, but also the one we are least satisfied with. Towels we had placed on the floor for changing were just hung back on the rack. Uncomfortable beds, No staff presence after 10:00 pm and very remote without phone numbers or information. Doesn't feel safe. Without a fridge in the room and a long walk, it is impossible to keep things cool. They only sell Bintang on-site. Staff speaks poor English. Breakfast was meager and that jovial owner with fun outings everyone talks about, we didn't see. All in all, a disappointment. The pool makes up for a lot but that's about it.
