“Old Bali style .”
Definitely the staff and the meals.. the food was excellent. The help with hiring a bike and getting a driver, even in the night of a petrol shortage was excellent. Local knowledge. And as a surfing loving couple the break was close by.
Unfortunately the beach shore was so polluted with all manner of rubbish, from fishing nets to toothbrushes. It’s an old place and does need some love. But taking all into account we thought it was great. The room was clean, bed clean sheets & comfy, the views were beautiful. The cafe next door had the best waffles we’ve ever had.😜
