★★★★★ A very special accommodation - absolute recommendation! We had a wonderful stay at ElingUbud and would come back anytime. The accommodation is located just outside Ubud, surrounded by greenery and rice fields. This makes it wonderfully quiet and relaxed, while still being close to Ubud and many attractions and waterfalls. For us, this combination was perfect. Our accommodation was a beautiful bungalow with a small private veranda and two chairs. Everything was incredibly clean and lovingly decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and everything else you need and even more was really available. There were fresh towels and bed linen, shampoo and soap, even toothbrushes, plenty of space for clothes, and a desk... We were particularly impressed by the huge bathroom with a small terrace area. The entire property is also beautiful. The garden is incredibly green and well-kept, and the pool was by far one of the cleanest pools we have seen in Bali. The atmosphere is simply fantastic, and especially at night, it is wonderfully quiet. There was also a sweet and lovely cat. The breakfast was also very delicious. We mostly had scrambled eggs with buttered toast and fresh fruit, but there are also other options like Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng. What really made this accommodation special for us was the incredible hospitality of the family. You can immediately tell that it is a lovingly run family business. We were incredibly warmly welcomed and felt welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. The family was so attentive, helpful, and warm, as we have rarely experienced.
