“a unique experience”
Arriving in a family that takes you in full board. Arnes, the dad, goes fishing and the mom, Lina, is an excellent cook. The little family brought us a lot of happiness. The Raja Ampat experience is like nothing else. You put on your mask and you can observe the beauty of the underwater world right at the foot of our bungalow. However, it's very basic, so don't expect traditional toilets and electricity is only from 6 pm to 11 pm, but it's clearly part of the trip.

“Very nice family homestay.”
Lina cooked delicious meals for us and Arnes supported us in every way. However, we left one day earlier to Wasai (Sorong) because incredible thunderstorms occurred at night and heavy rain lasted for hours in the morning. The house reef towards the northeast, facing the village, is unfortunately very overgrown in some areas, which made me very sad. On the reef flat in front of the homestay, many juvenile reef fish of various species can be discovered.
The mattress on the floor was not very comfortable.

“Beautiful and nice”
Very nice homestay with a magnificent view, charming and well-decorated bungalows, lovely and very attentive hosts, full of little touches. The meals are good and plentiful. The coral reef is beautiful, with plenty of fish, turtles, and sharks. If we have the opportunity to come back to Gam, we will gladly return!
The mattress is a bit too soft and damp probably due to the plastic-coated sheet like a mattress protector, and the lack of a fan, and a very small table to put our belongings

“Very nice location”
Very nice location, the white sandy beach in front of the pontoon is beautiful. On your right, along the cliff, there is a deserted beach. Equally beautiful. The coral is beautiful, full of fish, a beautiful turtle, a blacktip reef shark. The view is magnificent, the water is of an exceptional blue. Very convenient, if you return to the port of Waisai for 500,000k, the owner will take you there. There are no mosquitoes, rats, or other insects. Shared bathroom and toilets. There is only one shower and one toilet. But it's clean. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel as there is none on site.
Unfortunately, poor bedding, the mattresses need to be replaced, no interaction with the owners. It's a shame. The food is limited in quantity for the number of people, considering there is no place to buy food since it's isolated. It was difficult to wait for meal times every time, especially when we do a lot of water activities. Breakfast is too light and the quantities are not sufficient for adults at lunch and dinner, although we had a meal with a very nice fish once. Unfortunately, there was loud music from the stilt houses nearby, it was unbearable for two consecutive nights, it lasted one night until 5 am and the other night until 2 am, it was impossible to sleep.
