Common open kitchen is super handy to prep own breakfast. 5 min walk to beachfront restaurants and freediving school.
Dark room with humid warm air, totally blind narrow bathroom with cockroach, no sheet covering the duvet, plastic still on the mattress, centipede climbing on the bed. Staff ok but not the most helpful and caring I've come across.

We had a wonderful stay at Citronella Homestay. The family was very cheerful and excellent hosts. When we needed an extra lamp by the bed, they provided it the next day. We also asked for a new sponge, which was replaced immediately. The property is charming and not too large, with a lovely garden, a pool, and cozy seating areas, all of which are well-maintained daily. The room was spacious and cleaned every morning. Overall, we felt very comfortable during our stay and would definitely return!
The only thing we would improve is the air conditioner. It was cooling the room comparing to the outside temperature but it was not enough sometimes.
