“Good for location and price but disappointing for hospitality”
Very good location right in the heart of Ubud just a few steps from Ubud palace, but in a small street off the main road, making the accommodation quiet. Spacious room, but a bit old-fashioned. The bathroom is also very large but not in very good condition. Very nice inner courtyard with a garden. Provided with a water dispenser to fill your bottle, which is very convenient as the water is not drinkable in Indonesia. Good breakfast with a choice of pancakes or eggs and fresh fruits.
Hospitality was not as good as expected from the reviews. People mentioned they were very happy with the welcome, but we felt like we were bothering them a bit. On the first day for breakfast, we waited for over an hour to be served. No one was taking care of us. Another time, we just asked if they could help us find transportation to Munduk as it is common for homestays to provide contacts for drivers, and they told us to look in the street or on Grab app but they wouldn't help us.
