The hotel is great, the staff is not at all. They tried to scam us for money (150 euros - minimum monthly wage in Bali after all) and all this on my birthday... My husband inquired in case he could order me flowers, etc., and had ordered balloons (50 euros). He refused the balloons on the same day because they were not nice and said he was still willing to pay for that. However, the receptionist's wife said that he had ordered the whole package for 150 euros, which was not true at all! We have a WhatsApp conversation that confirms it. This woman told him he was dishonest and said 'Let’s watch CCTV because you asked me for this orally'! My husband of course said 'let's watch because I never said that'. Obviously, she didn't want to watch, it was just a threat. And it's scandalous to confuse the customer like that and threaten him. I overlook the fact that what they were offering for 150 euros was disgusting. On my birthday, no one wished me a happy birthday - they just said 'where is your husband'?.. On the same day (still my birthday 😂) they were cleaning my room and I come and ask them to come back in 20 minutes because I needed the bathroom. They say ok and they continue! I had to tell them 3 times to leave immediately for them to do it. In short, these women have no consideration for the customer or anyone - it's clear they are just bored where they are.. It's very unfortunate because it still ruined my birthday experience. I sincerely hope they stop working there and find another job they will enjoy
