What I liked most about this place was the friendliness of the local people, the affordable food, and the reasonable prices at the local markets. The locals were so welcoming and kind, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was inexpensive, and shopping at the local markets was also very affordable. These were definitely some of the things I appreciated the most about this area. The accommodation where I stayed was a little far from the main street, but it was still comfortable and relaxing. It was easy enough to get around, and overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. What really made this place special for me was the combination of friendly local people, affordable living costs, and a relaxed atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my time here and appreciated the warm hospitality of the local community.
Beautiful, Calm Beaches, but Serious Pollution and Unpleasant Parking Experiences One of the best things about this area is its beautiful, calm beach. The waves are gentle, making it an ideal place for swimming. The local people are generally friendly, the food is affordable, and prices at local markets are very reasonable. These are all things I genuinely appreciated during my stay. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the terrible condition of the beach environment. At Lovina Beach, plastic rubbish was scattered along the shoreline and floating in the water. In some places, there was so much plastic that you could feel it under your feet while walking in the water. When the waves came in, plastic waste was spread across the beach in thick layers, in places reaching around 30 cm (one foot). It was honestly so unpleasant that I could not bring myself to swim there. I also noticed areas where wastewater outlets were located very close to the beach. This did not feel like a simple case of rubbish washing in from the sea. It gave me the impression that the area between the land and the ocean was not being properly managed or protected. I stayed for two days, but I only managed to swim once at a different location about 2 km away. After seeing the condition of the water and the amount of rubbish, I no longer felt comfortable swimming there because I was worried about possible skin problems or other health risks. It was particularly disappointing because the sea itself is naturally beautiful and the calm water should make this an excellent swimming destination. With proper waste management, environmental protection, and control of wastewater discharge, this area could be so much better. Another unpleasant experience was the way parking fees were demanded. In some situations, it was unclear whether parking fees were officially required, yet individuals approached visitors and demanded payment.
